In my in-game universe the Pittsburgh Industrials were sold by their owner, who just happened to oversee eight straight seasons of under-.400 baseball and ten last-place finished in 22 years of owning the team.
So, I decided that the new owner wanted to take the stench off the organization with a rebrand.
The main logo is a repurposed version of the original logo of the
Vulcan Foundation Equipment Company. Not my most original work, but since Vulcan was the Roman god of the forge and metalwork he'd fit right in with a Pittsburgh-based team at the turn of the 20th Century.
