Dan Boone Astros 1982
Dan (or Danny) Boone was a little left-handed reliever who debuted with the Padres in 1981. The Pads dealt him the following year to the Astros, though I can't remember who they got for him. Dan saw little action in Houston and disappeared from the majors for years after that, finally resurfacing briefly in the early 90s with the Orioles. He was indeed related to Daniel Boone, the guy Fess Parker played in that coonskin cap. The only previous shot of Dan as an Astro was a tiny blurry B&W headshot, which was posted here long ago.
