The St. Louis Cardinals have called up AA A prospect PJ Morlando from AAA Memphis.
A third-round selection in the 2027 draft, Morlando has quickly risen through the minor-league ranks.
He has spent this season at AAA Memphis, where in 44 games/42 starts he has hit .292 with 17 home runs and 38 RBIs.
The 23-year-old has spent most of his time behind the plate. He is expected to see most of his time either at first base or as a designated hitter.
