Cards news: Nov. 20 -- Romo wins fourth straight Gold Glove
For the fourth consecutive season, St. Louis Cardinals catcher Drew Romo has been named the best defensive player at his position in the National League by winning the Gold Glove.
The 28-year-old Romo, who won his first Gold Glove while with the San Francisco Giants, ranked second among NL catchers in zone rating (2.51), fourth in caught stealing (27.7 percent), fourth in catcher's ERA (3.60) and first in framing (21.7).
Romo stared 127 games for the Cardinals and hit .202 with five home runs and 36 RBIs.
