Game 1 - Easy Town at County Crossing
Home Field Advantage: Topaloglu, County Crossing Open Association Semifinal with Win
The County Crossing Bloodbugs started the Association Semifinal in style today, downing the visiting Easy Town Assaultrons at Beantown Brewery Stadium by a score of 7-2 to grab an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-5 series. Bloodbugs third baseman Taygun Topaloglu went 4 for 5 with 3 doubles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3.
The Bloodbugs took a 6-2 lead in the bottom of the sixth inning. Facing Easy Town hurler Thomas Seefar with two outs, Topaloglu hit a 2-run double.
"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Topaloglu.
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Beantown Brewery Stadium in County Crossing.
Game 2 - Easy Town at County Crossing
Hall, Bloodbugs Sink Assaultrons Again in Game 2
The County Crossing Bloodbugs moved to within one game of the Association Championship today, downing the visiting Easy Town Assaultrons at Beantown Brewery Stadium by a score of 6-2. Bloodbugs center fielder Long Hall did some major damage. He went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The win gives the Bloodbugs a 2-0 advantage in the best-of-5 Association Semifinal.
The Bloodbugs took a 5-0 lead in the bottom of the third inning. Facing Easy Town hurler Good Company Schiller with two outs, Hall hit a 2-run single.
Hall said his team "played with determination."
The next game is set to be played for Monday, September 26th , 2304 at Easy Town Field in Easy Town.
Game 3 - County Crossing at Easy Town
Bloodbugs Dominate, Sweep Association Semifinal
The County Crossing Bloodbugs made it look easy and are heading to the Association Championship.
They have ousted the Easy Town Assaultrons in a sweep, the final win coming by a 17-8 score, clinching the 3-0 series win.
"Everything's clicking for us right now," said Taygun Topaloglu, who was named MVP for the series.
Topaloglu hit .571 with a .600 on-base percentage. He added 0 home runs, drove in 4 RBI and scored 5 runs.
The County Crossing Bloodbugs will play against the winner of the Nordhagen Beach Party Boys-Sunshine Tidings Chemists in the next round. The Association Championship schedule will be announced after the Association Semifinal finishes.

Fogcrawler Blasts Chemists, Party Boys Take Game 1, 6-3
The Nordhagen Beach Party Boys started the Association Semifinal in style today, winning on the road against the Sunshine Tidings Chemists at ArcJet Systems Stadium by a score of 6-3 to take an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-5 series. Party Boys left fielder Michael Fogcrawler excelled. He was 2 for 4 with a home run and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.
The Party Boys took a 5-0 lead in the top of the third inning. Facing Sunshine Tidings hurler Mike Rubric with one out, Fogcrawler hit a 3-run home run.
Fogcrawler called the win "a collective effort."
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at ArcJet Systems Stadium in Sunshine Tidings.
Game 2 - Nordhagen Beach at Sunshine Tidings
Nordhagen Beach Tops Sunshine Tidings Again, 6-1
The Nordhagen Beach Party Boys moved to within one game of the Association Championship today, downing the Sunshine Tidings Chemists on the road at ArcJet Systems Stadium by a score of 6-1. Party Boys left-hander Ugio Church had a strong outing. He threw 7.1 innings of 4-hit ball. The win gives the Party Boys a 2-0 advantage in the best-of-5 Association Semifinal.
Church, who was born in Haverhill, Massachusetts, threw 108 pitches over 7.1 innings, while allowing 1 run.
"There's nothing like the postseason," said Church, "to ramp up the pressure."
The next game is set to be played for Monday, September 26th , 2304 at Slocum's Joe Seaside Stadium in Winthrop.
Game 3 - Sunshine Tidings at Nordhagen Beach
Party Boys Win Association Semifinal
It was a sweet sweep for the Nordhagen Beach Party Boys as they eased past the Sunshine Tidings Chemists to advance to the Association Championship.
Nordhagen Beach won the final game by a 4-1 count and the series 3-0.
"We're just fortunate to get through it quickly and be able to rest up for the next series," said Burtie Cuttooth, who was named series MVP.
For the series, Cuttooth hit .417 with a .417 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 3 runs.
The Nordhagen Beach Party Boys don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the County Crossing Bloodbugs - Easy Town Assaultrons series. County Crossing leads the series 2 games to 0. The Association Championship schedule will be announced after the Association Semifinal finishes.

Game 1 - Atom at Roxbury
Rad Sox Rally Past Cats to Claim 1-0 Series Lead
The Roxbury Rad Sox started the Association Semifinal in dramatic fashion today, stealing Game 1 from the Atom Cats in a walk-off. Roxbury won 2-1 behind a good day from starter Nuke Laloosh. The right-hander threw 7.0 innings of 6-hit ball in the win, which gave the Rad Sox a 1-0 lead to start the best-of-5 series.
Deerlord Fugivmee was the walk-off hero for Roxbury. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Rad Sox right fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"We did just enough to win," Fugivmee said.
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Atomatoys Stadium at Roxbury in Roxbury.
Game 2 - Atom at Roxbury
Cats Hammered by Mattingley, Fall Further Behind in ASF
A clutch 10th inning gave the Roxbury Rad Sox a walk-off win over the Atom Cats and a 2-0 lead in the Association Semifinal at Atomatoys Stadium at Roxbury today. Young third baseman Donn Mattingley, 23, earned accolades after he went 3 for 6 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With one out, Mattingley hit a fastball from Danny Scorcher for a grand slam home run. The Rad Sox, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
"Our team showed some gumption," said Mattingley. "I like it."
Game 3 is scheduled for Tuesday at Coolest Field in Town in Atom Cats Garage.
Game 3 - Roxbury at Atom
Rad Sox Move on to Association Championship
It's a sweet sweep for the Roxbury Rad Sox and they have won the Association Semifinal. The Atom Cats were not able to keep pace with the Rad Sox and dropped the series in short order, losing 5-4 in the deciding game.
"This wasn't really the effort we hoped for," said Atom manager Fourth Wall.
It's now on to the Association Championship for Roxbury after their 3-0 series win.
Leading the way for the winners was third baseman Donn Mattingley, who was named MVP. For the series, Mattingley hit .333 with a .333 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 8 RBI and scored 2 runs.
The Roxbury Rad Sox don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the University Point Deathclaws - Jamaica Plain Red Rockets series. Jamaica Plain leads the series 2 games to 1. The Association Championship schedule will be announced after the Association Semifinal finishes.

Association Semifinal Game 1 Victory for Vadim and Jamaica Plain
The Jamaica Plain Red Rockets started the Association Semifinal in style today, downing the visiting University Point Deathclaws at Red Rockets Stadium by a score of 4-1 to stake an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-5 series. Red Rockets right-hander Digger Vadim threw 6.0 innings of 2-hit ball.
Bulleye Shooterson drew 1 walk for Jamaica Plain. In a tie game with no one out in the bottom of the sixth, Shooterson came through with a run-scoring walk. It put the Red Rockets in front, 2-1.
"Whenever we hold the other team to one run," said Red Rockets manager Mark Sellsword, "I like our chances."
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Red Rockets Stadium in Jamaica Plain.
Game 2 - University Point at Jamaica Plain
Erickson, Red Rockets Wallop Deathclaws in Game 2 of ASF
The Jamaica Plain Red Rockets moved to within one game of the Association Championship today, downing the visiting University Point Deathclaws at Red Rockets Stadium by a score of 16-1. Red Rockets shortstop Aaron Erickson did some major damage. He was 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 doubles, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. The win gives the Red Rockets a 2-0 advantage in the best-of-5 Association Semifinal.
Hid Matsumoto dealt the Deathclaws a blow in the bottom of the first. Batting with the bases loaded and Jamaica Plain leading 5-0, Matsumoto, who finished 2nd in the SCA in stolen bases with 31 last year, hit a first pitch fastball for a bases-clearing triple.
"I just tried to make good contact," said Matsumoto.
Game 3 is scheduled for Tuesday at Gwinnett Brewery Park in Boston.
Game 3 - Jamaica Plain at University Point
Red Rockets Hammered by Jones, Drop Game 3 to Deathclaws
Already down in the Association Semifinal, the University Point Deathclaws put on their best show, beating the Jamaica Plain Red Rockets by a final score of 5-4 today. Tomas Jones was special. He was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. University Point now trails Jamaica Plain 2-1 in the best-of-5 affair.
Shawn Cherry was the walk-off hero for University Point. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Deathclaws catcher hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"We've got a great group of guys," Jones said, "and we're having fun right now."
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Gwinnett Brewery Park in Boston.
Game 4 - Jamaica Plain at University Point
Cocoa Blasts Red Rockets, Deathclaws Take Game 4, 6-4
The University Point Deathclaws and the Jamaica Plain Red Rockets will take the Association Semifinal to a decisive 5th game. In a must-win situation today, the Deathclaws beat the Red Rockets 6-4 at Gwinnett Brewery Park to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. University Point first baseman Barker Cocoa went 2-3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
Austin Engill, who finished 5th in the NCA in triples with 9 in 2299, aided the University Point cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the shortstop was 1-1 with a double and 4 walks.
"It was a good day but I'm not letting my guard down," Cocoa said. "I'll let my guard down as soon as someone puts a big, fat championship ring on my finger."
Game 5 is scheduled for Friday at Red Rockets Stadium in Jamaica Plain.
Game 5 - University Point at Jamaica Plain
Association Semifinal Goes the Distance, Jamaica Plain Prevails
Jamaica Plain Red Rockets won a nail-biting series against the University Point Deathclaws 3-2, wrapping up the Association Semifinal finale 5-3 at Red Rockets Stadium.
Red Rockets second baseman Bubb Islander was named the series MVP.
He batted .591, drove in 2 runs and scored 7 to lead Jamaica Plain into the next round of play.
"Bubb was real solid for us, real solid," said Red Rockets manager Mark Sellsword. "I normally say I'd like to have nine of him out there, but thankfully we got by with just one this time."
The Jamaica Plain Red Rockets will play against the Roxbury Rad Sox in the next round. Roxbury won their series against the Atom Cats 3 games to 0. The Association Championship schedule will be announced after the Association Semifinal finishes.
