Cards news: June 14 -- St. Louis' Eder and Pittsburgh's Zaragoza suspended after brawl
St. Louis Cardinals relief pitcher Jake Eder and Pittsburgh Pirates shortstop Juan Zaragoza have both been suspended after a bench-clearing brawl broke out during the Pirates' 12-2 win at PNC Park on Une 14.
Eder hit Zaragoza with a pitch after giving up a home run to Dylan Cupp.
Zaragoza charged the mound and the benches cleared.
