Game 54: Boston Americans vs. St. Louis Browns

A nice bounce-back win, as the Boston Americans (26-28) topped the St. Louis Browns (24-30) by a score of 10 to 4.

Sam Leever (7-6) picked up the win after allowing 4 earned runs (1 earned) on 6 hits, 5 walks, and 1 hit batsman; Game Score 62. This was Leever's 3rd consecutive decision picking up a win. Weldon Henley (7-6) took the loss due to serving up 10 runs (8 earned) on 12 hits, 4 walks, and 1 wild pitch in 5 1/3 innings; Game Score 7. Rube Kisinger came into the game to cover the final 3 2/3 inngs in a scoreless effort.
