Philadelphia Athletics pitcher Mordecai Brown took home May 1903 Rookie of the Month honors. In picking up the award, Brown posted a 5-2 record and a 1.50 ERA in 78 innings of play while accumulating 1.2 WAR and 2.5 WPA. This is the 2nd time that Brown earned PofM honors.
