Let's go...
Kevin Alcantara had a terribly disappointing 2028 regular season, hitting 214/289/385 with 20 HR and 0.2 WAR after a great .284-30-99, 4.3-WAR season the year before, but he's come alive this postseason winning the ALDS MVP and today drilling a grand slam in the 8th to break a 2-2 tie and give the Rays a 6-4 win and a 2-1 ALCS lead.
Jeffrey Springs pitched very well but gave up a 2-run Trevor Story homer in the 6th to lose a 2-0 lead before Alcantara's heroics saved the day.
DL Hall will go up against his old teammates tomorrow in Game 4.
