Harrisburg has generally been very difficult to deal with since they were created for us, I think, more or less. Duluth may also be or have been a challenge for us to deal with at least a little bit since they were themselves then created in the relevant FHM 7 dynasty, if I remember correctly enough here. I foresee much potential difficulty for the current St. Louis Eagles in the future related to those teams, as long as they and the Eagles all still exist, at least, in this NHL.
Toronto, the Wanderers, and Halifax are probably the best teams currently in the Canadian Division, I think, at least as of the past several years. if not even longer than that. Thunder Bay may be a serious perennial (?) contender soon, if they aren't already, with a still-young Gordie Howe, if I remember correctly at present.
Unless I add more teams to the NHL, I think we'll stick with just the 14 teams we now have in it until new expansion teams come for the 1967-68 season. If I don't let teams fold before the current NHL season, at least, I wonder just how many teams the NHL will have by this time in the game's history, if I make it that far, of course. How many might I have by 2023, if so, folks? Anyone know, especially if I can bring other WHA teams into the NHL that never came over in actual reality? Just wondering, that's all. CD out.
