Yeah, and IME post-1893 is far, far easier to handle than before then. At one point there are 24 major league teams to have to deal with and you also have teams folding or dropping out of their leagues almost yearly. In 1899-1900 4 teams folded to create the “modern” National League and that’s the last time that happened in baseball history.
