It might be rather interesting for you to know that Dominik Hasek spent his whole NHL career in this dynasty as a player with the Rangers, although at the moment, I'm not quite sure if he was a member of all seven Cup-winning teams that the Rangers have had so far in this game's history. It is likely that he was a part of at least four, if not all, though, I think, just so you know.

The Schooners could very well still be in contention for another Cup for a little while longer yet here, if Lafleur can keep playing for them. But he's somewhere in his mid-30's now, I believe, so I'm not entirely sure about that. I am quite sure, however, that he will be a very strong candidate for election to the Hall once he's eligible, or not very long after that, in any case, given his current career statistics to date. While he won't have his actual RL number retired for him when he's done, for sure, he no doubt will have his number 16 retired for him by Halifax when that comes, if and when it does. Supposing that's his current number in the relevant game, of course.

We have several retired numbers in our history, and certainly Tony's 33 should join them in due time, after he retires, seeing as he's the current goalie wins leader, after all, at least. He also holds the unfortunate goalie losses record at this time, to be sure, among other records. But his record is considerably over .500 now, it seems, due to our recent seasons' relevant records now, I believe, for his goalie career.

I'm not sure who will ultimately replace him in the net for us when his career is over, but whoever it is, will most likely have rather big skates to fill, just like the main person Tony himself replaced quite a few seasons ago. Our franchise history boasts the two goalies with the most career wins as a goalie in league history to date, and I think the Rangers franchise has at least the goalie with the third-most career wins as a goalie in league history, that goalie being Hasek, at least as of the present time.

If memory serves me correctly, the top three goalies with the most career wins are Tony, Charlie Gardiner, and Dominik Hasek at least as of the present time, though I could be wrong about that here, of course, folks. To be absolutely sure, though, I'd have to look at the relevant leaderboards, in any case.

Thunder Bay could be an up-and-coming team, either now or in the near-future, and they still have a young Gordie Howe, if memory serves me correctly enough right now. I don't know if he'll be able to contend for high positions on the related leaderboards at any time in his career, either soon or later on in his career, if he hasn't already done so, though. I believe there may be a good chance that he'll win at least one Cup somehow in his career, if not more than one, just the same, whether he stays with the Giants his whole career or not.

If any of you want to know if a certain player's been in the game yet, please let me know, either here or elsewhere, as appropriate and all, then. If they have been, I'll try to find out how they've each performed so far in their careers, at least as players, whether as currently-active players or not, just as soon as I can and all here, if and when I can and all, that is, of course. CD out.
