The backup may only be saving certain files and not all of the files..expecting the existing league file to be available.

To use a league across multiple machines, I would recommend just copying the full .lg file from your Saved Games folder instead of using the Backup options.

Edit - The backup files may work once you have an existing league in both locations, but I would at least recommend copying the full file the first time and testing the backup from there.
