Dalton Farm Threepeats as Season Pass Champions
The Quantum Nukalurks put up an early fight to win the first two games of the Season Pass Association's Season Pass Series, but the Dalton Farm Fog Crawlers won the last four games to claim their third-straight title.
Game 1: Quantum 6 at Dalton Farm 5
Fog Crawlers Hammered by Ransom, Drop Game 1 to Nukalurks
The Quantum Nukalurks started the Season Pass Series in style today, winning on the road against the Dalton Farm Fog Crawlers at Blood Tide Stadium by a score of 6-5 to take an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-7 series. Nukalurks first baseman Joe Ransom excelled. He was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times.
Quantum used a clutch hit from Jason Love to get the win. The left fielder drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Nukalurks ahead, 6-5. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"You never want to start a series with a loss, but I saw a lot of good things today," Fog Crawlers manager Spider Webb said. "I'm not worrying. Yet."
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Thursday, August 31st , 2305.
Game 2: Quantum 6 at Dalton Farm 1
Quantum Tops Dalton Farm Again, 6-1
Starter Smoker Caliman was sensational for the Quantum Nukalurks in his team's 6-1 triumph over the Dalton Farm Fog Crawlers in Game 2 of the Season Pass Series today. Caliman pitched well, but Quantum picked up the win to take a 2-0 lead in the series.
Caliman allowed 1 run over 9 innings. He also racked up 8 strikeouts.
"We have been clicking right from the start of this series, so our mission statement at the moment is just don't tinker with anything," Quantum manager Scott Dancer told reporters.
Game 3 is scheduled for Saturday at World of Refreshment Field in Bradberton.
Game 3: Dalton Farm 9 at Quantum 7
Dalton Farm Breaks Through for First Win in Season Pass Series; Now Trails 2-1
The Dalton Farm Fog Crawlers have closed some of the gap between themselves and the series-leading Quantum Nukalurks, winning 9-7 at World of Refreshment Field today. Fog Crawlers left fielder Sean Harpoonmon went 4-5 with 4 singles. He scored 2 runs. The win cuts the deficit facing the Fog Crawlers to 2-1 in the best-of-7 Season Pass Series.
Dalton Farm relied on the bat of Jayden Neo to get the win. The second baseman ripped a bases-clearing triple in the top of the third inning to put the Fog Crawlers ahead, 4-3. For the game, Neo had 1 double and 1 triple in 4 at-bats.
"It's a huge change in atmosphere versus last game," Neo said after the win. "I feel like we're back in the mix now. We just can't let up."

Game 4: Dalton Farm 1 at Quantum 0
Fog Crawlers Clip Nukalurks 1-0 in SPS Contest
The Dalton Farm Fog Crawlers got a complete game effort from starter Phil Cecil to move into a 2-2 tie with the Quantum Nukalurks in the best-of-7 Season Pass Series.
The Dalton Farm left-hander went the distance at World of Refreshment Field, cooling off the Quantum Nukalurks and striking out 2 to help Dalton Farm take the 1-0 win that knotted the series.
The Nukalurks had trouble solving Cecil, who surrendered no runs on 4 hits over 9 innings.
"It feels a lot better to be tied than to be behind, even if it is only one game," Dalton Farm manager Spider Webb said.

Game 5: Dalton Farm 17 at Quantum 4
Morris Blasts Nukalurks, Fog Crawlers Take Game 5, 17-4
Dalton Farm Fog Crawlers third baseman Ryan Morris was the difference-maker at World of Refreshment Field today, as he led his club to victory in a pivotal Game 5 of the Season Pass Series. The Fog Crawlers took the 17-4 win over the Quantum Nukalurks to seize a 3-2 lead in the best-of-7 series.
Dalton Farm relied on the hitting of Chris Huffsettler to pick up the win. The shortstop clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Fog Crawlers on top, 13-1. For the game, Huffsettler had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
"It was all gas and no brake on our side," said Huffsettler.
The next game is set to be played for Wednesday, September 6th , 2305 at Blood Tide Stadium.
Game 6: Quantum 1 at Dalton Farm 7
Fog Crawlers Prevail In Season Pass Association Series
Justin Wentworth pitched a complete game, holding Quantum to three hits and a run with 10 strikeouts in the Dalton Farm Fog Crawlers' 7-1 win in Game 6 of the Season Pass Series.
Both Chris Huffsettler and Ryan Morris went deep for the Crawlers. Both went 2 for 4 in the game. Morris scored twice and drove in two. Huffsettler scored once and knocked in three.
"It's no easy task to win it all," the Dalton Farm skipper Spider Webb told the press after his club had beaten the Quantum Nukalurks 7-1 to nab the coveted Season Pass Association title. His Fog Crawlers had prevailed over the Nukalurks 4-2 in the championship series. "It's hard enough just to win your own league trophy. To win the Season Pass Association is quite an achievement. We are extremely proud to be that team." During the Vim! League Fog Division regular season, Dalton Farm posted a record of 58-32 to finish first in the standings.
