CBO Names LaRue Executive Vice President, Interim Commissioner
The CBO released an announcement today naming Jimmy LaRue as Executive Vice President to the Commissioner. Because Commissioner Nate Howard is on an extended mission to a creature threat in the Commonwealth, LaRue will also serve as the Interim Commissioner until Howard can return.
The statement from the CBO is below:
"Due to a significant threat, Nate Howard will take an extended leave to help battle the threat. In his place, the Commonwealth Baseball Organization is pleased to promote Jimmy LaRue as Executive Vice President and Interim Commissioner for the remainder of the 2305 season. LaRue will assume all executive decisions regarding the league.
"Mr. LaRue joins the CBO from the Far West where he was a part of the Mojave Baseball League. Mr. LaRue is a legend of the Mojave part of America, which is part of the New California Republic. He played 19 seasons before making a trek here to the Commonwealth where he has agreed to maintain the integrity of the CBO through his multiple years of experience with baseball.
"Mr. LaRue will oversee the CBO playoffs, draft, and changes to the minor league and youth league systems for 2306. Mr. LaRue will release information about the changes sometime after the conclusion of the 2305 season, assuming Mr. Howard has not yet completed his mission."
