Thanks to the (much) later Minnesota Twins' announcer and state baseball historian Halsey Hall, who in the Minneapolis Journal of May 24, 1931 decided to reminisce about Moon, a 22-game loser with Minneapolis four years before. It's full of inferences about bad conduct and bad pitching and now he'd lost his chance at the big leagues. And yet there he is in the Encyclopedia, and finally with a relatively clean image:
