Noodles Hahn (11-10) pitched a fine game today, scattering 7 hits while striking out 2 as he cruised to a 101 pitch shutout victory; Game Score 75. Fred Glade (9-15) was tagged with the loss after he permitted 4 earned runs on 11 hits; Game Score 49.
Fred Clarke (3 for 4, Double, Run, RBI), Chick Stahl (2 for 4, Double Triple, Run, RBI), and Jiggs Donahue (2 for 4, RBI) powered the Americans' offense. Mike Grady (2 for 4, Triple) and Harry Bay (3 for 4, Stolen Base) played well in the loss.
