The beat goes on for surging Canucks but Williams goes down to crippling injury

Vancouver has actually managed to put together a four game win streak in their best run of the season. They saw Markstrom post a shutout two days ago against the Lightning and haven't slowed down since Daniel's injury but more bad news tonight after Justin Williams was assessed with a major UCL tear following the 4-1 victory over Columbus. The arm injury will keep Williams out indefinitely and is a blow to the Canucks who depended on his veteran leadership and solid depth scoring. Williams had five goals and ten assists through 32 games and will be missed in the lineup.
