On Friday night, Cincinnati Reds slugger Buck Freeman launched the ball deep into the stands to set the single-season homerun record. In getting his 11th longball of the season, Freeman passed the record set last year by Topsy Hartsel and Herm McFarland. With 55+ games left in the season, it will be interesting to see how high Freeman can push the homerun mark.
