It's okay to say that the devs assigned arbitrary values to these cards, because that's what they have done. I'm a stats guy and if I see a number I want to know how it's calculated - and when it's arbitrarily decided, it needs to be stated as such. We don't need to explain it away as "it makes sense because X" or be apologists about it. Just say "yes values are somewhat arbitrary." It seems backhanded to blame the users for the reasons behind it (i.e. "the howls would be heard on the moon") when the real primary reason is to setup a system where new cards in each category are released weekly and users can keep funneling money into buying PPs and purchasing new packs and new cards.
It's okay to be critical of things. Critical suggestions/opinions provide feedback to possibly make a better product next time.
