I was kinda of surprised Anson and Spalding didnt get in on the first vote.
Also noticed that Anson did not get a single vote.
He's the all time leader in hits with 3,565 hits and .318 lifetime batting avg.
Won 3 gold gloves, 7 silver sluggers (best hitter at position), 3 time mvp,
2 time playoff series mvp and played on 7 championship teams.
I can understand him not getting voted in but not a single vote?
I just dont see how that should happen no matter how many votes per ballot.
