June 30-July 2, 2031: vs LA Dodgers (3)
Game 1: 3-1 W. WP-Bradley (7-5, 5.1 3 1 1 2 6). S-Ogando (5). HR-Hardy (17), E.Green (8). Excellent pitching and the bat of Alistair Hardy, who was 3-3 with a solo homer and an insurance RBI single, led the Rays to victory.
Game 2: 2-1 W. WP-Okuda (5-0). Starter-Acosta (6.1 3 0 0 1 8). The Rays scored twice in the 9th to pull out a dramatic win with the decider scoring on a walk-off wild pitch after Yordan Alvarez's sac fly tied it. Acosta continues to be a stud in the rotation.
Game 3: 0-1 L. LP-Eldridge (4-6, 7.1 5 1 1 2 4). No late rally today as the Rays played binary baseball once again, coming up on the short end despite their third straight game allowing only one run.
Team record: 45-35, still 1 1/2 up on Toronto in the East. Next up: A day off then we spend the July 4 weekend at Wrigley Field with 3 against the Cubs.
