Game 134: Boston Americans vs. Philadelphia Athletics

Watch out, the Americans are on a 2-game winning streak. In today's game, the Boston Americans (71-63) topped the Philadelphia Athletics (73-61) by a score of 10 to 6.

Jesse Tannehill (19-14) snapped his 3-game losing streak and picked up the win despite allowing 6 earned runs on 12 hits, 2 walks, and 1 hit batsman; Game Score 38. Opposing pitcher Earl Moore (20-13) was roughed up for 9 runs (6 earned) on 9 hits, 3 walks, and 1 wild pitch in 5 2/3 innings of play; Game Score 20. Dan Daub pitched 1 1/3 innings of scoreless ball before turning it over to Lave Winham who allowed 1 earned run on 3 hits in 2 innings of play.
