-On July 29th, the Baltimore Orioles traded 23-year-old CF Jim Jackson and 23-year-old Ca Tacks Latimer to the Cleveland Blues, getting 30-year-old CL Bill Hoffer in return.
-On July 30th, the Philadelphia Athletics traded 20-year-old LF Jack Hayden to the Cleveland Blues, getting 30-year-old RP Ed Scott and 20-year-old starting pitcher Jack Bracken in return.
-The Boston Americans traded 23-year-old RP Fred Mitchell to the Chicago White Sox, getting 31-year-old SP Clark Griffith in return.
-On July 31st, the Washington Senators traded 35-year-old RF Sam Dungan to the Pittsburgh Pirates, getting 20-year-old 3B Terry Turner and 24-year-old SP Rube Waddell in return.
