Regular season awards:
2B Nap Lajole of the Philadelphia Athletics wins the AL Best Batter award with 16 home runs, 82 RBIs, and 97 runs scored.
1B Frank Chance of the Chicago Cubs wins the NL Best Batter award with 6 home runs, 72 RBIs, and 106 runs scored.
2B Nap Lajole of the Philadelphia Athletics wins the AL Triple Crown with 16 home runs, 82 RBIs, and a .355 batting average.
SP Rube Waddell of the Washington Senators wins the pitching AL Triple Crown with a 29-11 record, a ERA of 1.30, and 308 strikeouts.

RF Harry Lumley of the Pittsburgh Pirates wins the NL Batter of the Month Award with 1 home run, 21 RBIs, and 15 runs scored.
SP Frank Smith of the Detroit Tigers wins the AL Pitcher of the Month Award with a 5-2 record and a 0.98 ERA.
SP Ed Killian of the Pittsburgh Pirates wins the NL Pitcher of the Month Award with a 5-3 record and a 2.04 ERA.

SP Ralph Caldwell of the St. Louis Cardinals wins the NL Rookie of the Month Award with a 3-2 record and 0.47 ERA.
In the AL, the New York Highlanders, despite losing some ground, managed to hold on to the first-place spot while, in the NL, the Pittsburgh Pirates managed to become the first team in the MLB to win 100 or more games, with a record of 100-54, and also winning the pennant. It'll be the New York Highlanders (98-56) vs. the Pittsburgh Pirates (100-54), who are making their third appearance in a World Series since it started in 1901.
