July 7-10, 2031: vs Baltimore (4)

Game 1: 7-3 W. WP-Bradley (8-5, 7 2 1 1 1 6). HR-Albies (12). Taj was terrific and Wander had a big day with a bases-clearing triple and RBI double.

Game 2: 7-1 W. WP-Acosta (2-1, 5 3 1 1 1 8). HR-Hardy (18), Luciano (3), E.Green (9). Rays won their fifth straight and eighth in their last nine fairly comfortably thanks to a monster game from Elijah Green, who was 4-5 with a homer, 3 RBI and 3 stolen bases. Aldry Acosta meanwhile finally got a decision, only his third in fifteen starts despite sporting a 2.27 ERA.

Game 3: 3-4 L. LP-Armenta (3-3). Starter-Eldridge (6 4 1 1 0 7). HR-Solano (9). A tough one as the Rays let a 3-0 lead get away in the late innings when Armenta, who came into the game with an 0.97 ERA, gave up a 2-run homer to Adley Rutschman in the 8th to put Baltimore ahead.

Game 4: 4-1 W
. WP-German (6-3, 6.2 4 1 1 3 11). S-Ogando (6). HR-G.Henderson (12). German had a dominant outing, his best in a while, and Gunnar's 2-run homer in the 5th was the game's key blow.

Team record: 51-36, now 3 1/2 up on Toronto in the AL East. Next up: 3 games at home against 35-52 Colorado before we hit the All-Star Break, and we also have the Amateur Draft.
