World Series - Game 6

The 3rd extra-inning outcome of the Series went to the Boston Beaneaters (4-2), as they topped the New York Highlanders (2-4) by a 4 to 3 score in this 13-inning game.

In a multi-pitcher performance, Boston relied on Pete Dowling for the 1st 8 innings in which he allowed 3 earned runs on 6 hits and 2 hit batsmen; Game Score 62. The ball was turned over to Vic Willis for 2 innings of scoreless ball before the handoff to Ed Siever for an additional 2 innings of scoreless effort.
