As the Triple-A affiliate of the Boston Americans, the Clearwater Hooks made their parent franchise proud today as they wrapped up the Triple-A Championship with a 3 to 0 victory over the Orlando Trolls (affiliate of the New York Giants). Pitcher Willie Garoni was named Player of the Game for his pitching performance in which he scattered 4 hits and 2 walks while striking out 12 to cruise the shutout victory.
