Major League Baseball as of 1901 All-Star Break
All teams in all leagues are playing 150 games per season. There are no association playoffs as of this point in time, but they may come later, of course, as the need or desire arises, folks.
Anyway, this post is mainly meant to introduce you to MLB as it now stands, team and division and subleague-wise, at least. The current MLB teams as of the 1901 season, by subleague and by division are as follows:
American League:
Ferguson Division:
Hickory Crawdads
Lakewood Blue Crabs (Will need some graphics help for them later on)
Memphis Chicks
Mobile Bears
Richmond Flying Squirrels
Duffy Division:
Aberdeen Shorebirds
Chicago Whales
Indianapolis Racers
Kannapolis Intimidators
New York Mets (AKA Metropolitans)
National League:
Ramsey Division:
Calgary Stampeders
Colorado Rockies
Kelowna Silvertips
Oakland Oaks
Saskatoon Gems
Miller Division:
Kansas City Diesels
Mankato Moondogs
Monterrey Sultans
Ogden Raptors
Portland Beavers (in Oregon)
My human manager is not in this league, quite obviously, since my favorite team isn't in this league. But I do have a single human manager in the dynasty at this point for it here, most definitely. You'll have to wait to see where that team is, however, for at least one more post, if not more than one, folks.
The divisions in this league are named for great players in another one of my dynasties, specifically for Charlie Ferguson, Hugh Duffy, Toad Ramsey, and Dusty Miller, I believe. Either Hall of Famers or ones almost certain to be Hall of Famers in it, if they're not yet eligible for such an honor in it, in any case. CD out.
P.S. Current league standings as of All-Star Break below, by the way. CD out.
