2307 CBO Offseason

I have some narrative to add for both this dynasty and the Fallout: New Vegas dynasty. I find it more time-consuming to write my creative pieces than to report on the CBO, so I am behind on some stories and will need to backdate some. Anyway, I have simulated ahead to January 1, 2307, in the CBO dynasty, so let me update that first.

CBO News and Notes

There was one major rule change in the CBO for the 2307 season. Some items that came up but failed to get enough votes were proposals to expand the regular season CBO roster to 26 or 27 players; change the schedule to place interassociation (NCA vs SCA) games in the middle of the season; and create new tiers of pay scales for players. The only change is that the CBO has now nixed trades between the CBO and the Season Pass Association, citing that teams are using workarounds for the CBO trade deadline and salary to cheat the system.

Commissioner Nate Howard has stated that he would prefer stars remain in the CBO. Supposedly, he was displeased with the move by Starlight to send star SP Alex Alexson to the NWL's Quantum Nukalurks for low-rated players, so he forced another team to trade for him. The Killers will also need to send their 2307 2nd and 9th-round picks to University Point because of the high cost of acquiring Alexson. Starlight cut one of the two players acquired in the trade, SP Frank William Kidd, proving that the deal was not in the best interest of the team or the CBO.

A third CBO team has officially moved its headquarters following the moves of Warwick to Spectacle Island and Abernathy to Bunker Hill. The former Finch Farm Four Leafs have taken their new home in Nahant where they are now the Celtics, a throwback to a pre-War professional basketball team in Boston. Finch Farm is now the MML affiliate of the Celtics and is known as the Shamrocks.

Starlight has decided to keep its Killers name, settling on the "Psycho" logo of a vaultboy holding a gun and knife. Team colors and uniforms remain the same, only the main logo, which changed from the "Lady Killer" to the "Pint-Sized Slasher," has changed.

There were also several minor league teams changing affiliations and team names. In the BMU, the Revere Beach team went from the Celtics to Shoremen, trading their team name with Nahant. The Clifton Vertibirds are now associated with Diamond City, and the Nahant team has a new team, the Brockton Irish. After the passing of Arlen Glass, the Atomatoys Factory has decided to no longer host a baseball team. Bunker Hill and Concord traded their BMU teams, the Mayoral Shelter Tricentennials now with the 75ers and the Arlington Caps now with the Radstags.

In the GBRL, Nahant also has a new team, the Lowell Leprechauns. Lexington takes over the Taffington Boathouse Spy Hunters, dropping the Galleria Robotics Experts due to having the lowest fan attendance in the Commonwealth at all levels. Bunker Hill and Concord also traded their GBRL teams, the South Boston Patriots going to the 75ers and the Westing Estate team going to the Stags. Westing Estate will also now be known as the Alphas with their mascot an Alpha Deathclaw.

In the SCYL, there are four new teams, two teams dropping parts of their names, and slight realignment. Joining the SCYL will be the East Providence Skulls, the North Providence Phantoms, the Sandwich Screamers, and the Wareham Comets. The West Dennis Menaces will go by the Dennis Menaces, though their uniforms still sport the "West" name. Also, the Brown U Bubblers dropped the "U" on their team name. Sandwich and Wareham join the CCL's Nantucket Sound Division, and the Chatham Lighthouse slides to the CCL's Cape Cod Bay Division. North Providence joined the PL's Seekonk River Division, and the Skulls joined the PL's Narragansett Bay Division.

Commissioner Nate Howard is again investigating the "Creature Conspiracy," this time in the Glowing Sea. Jimmy LaRue will take over operations until Howard returns.

2307 Nuka Cup News

The 2307 Nuka Cup will follow the same Round Robin format with the host settlements being County Crossing, Roxbury, Sunshine Tidings, and Vault 81. The tournament will run from February 24 through March 23 with the Round Robin Round February 24-March 12, and the Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and Final Series happening from March 14 through March 23.

County Crossing will host University Point, Nordhagen Beach, Diamond City, Bunker Hill, and Goodneighbor. Roxbury will host Starlight, Jamaica Plain, Concord, Atom, and Lexington. Sunshine Tidings will host Spectacle Island, Salem, Egret, Nahant, and FHE. And Vault 81 will host Easy Town, Oberland, Fort Hagen, Quincy, and The Slog.
