CBO Outlook 2307
As we head into the 2307 season, the 10th season of the full CBO, we wanted to take a look at where teams stand on this Friday before the 8th Nuka Cup begins.
We here at BNN have crunched the numbers and came up with numbers of what a "perfect" season would be like. This estimation would assume that players stay injury-free and consistent with their performance expectations. We know that is not possible. but we do think the current system can give us an estimation of how the season may finish. We may have also broken PAM's code, but we will wait to compare our numbers to PAM's when the brainy assaultron's future prediction skills are displayed just before the regular season.
Simply for our formula, the projected Sole Survivor Series for 2307 is definitively a rematch of County Crossing (57 total) vs Roxbury (61 total) with the Bloodbugs slightly ahead. Not only do we have a repeat, but the Bugs and Rad Sox have a maximum win total possibility of 98 and 96 wins, respectively!
At the bottom of the scale, we see the Goodneighbor Hancocks and Nahant Celtics with a projected low of 27 and 28 wins, respectively. Since the Celtics are in the Brotherhood League with County Crossing, that could mean an extreme of finishing 70 games behind if the Bloodbugs meet their max record of 98-22 and Nahant finishes at their low of 28-92.
Other contenders to win the Sole Survivor Series, determined by team totals (lowest to highest from 0-120) are Jamaica Plain (78), University Point (88), Nordhagen Beach (96), Oberland (98), and Spectacle Island (99).
Based on this formula, the playoff seedings would be:
NCA
1. County Crossing
2. Sunshine Tidings (111)
3. Nordhagen Beach
4. Starlight (121)
5. Easy Town (101)
SCA
1. Roxbury
2. Jamaica Plain
3. University Point
4. Oberland
5. Spectacle Island
Vault 81 (129), which finished with the best record in the SCA in 2306, would be the first team out, while Concord (143) would be the first team out in the NCA.
