MLB has announced that St. Louis Cardinals OF/IF Brendan Donovan and Pittsburgh Pirates reliever Carmen Mlodzinski have both been suspended after a recent fight in the Cardinals' 11-5 win in Pittsburgh.
Donovan charged the mound instigating the fight after he was hit by a pitch following a home run by the previous hitter Nolan Gorman.
Donovan will have to sit for four games. Mlodinski got just two.
