As the off-season purge continues, the Washington Senators parted ways with starting shortstop Bobby Wallace (combined 5.7 WAR last 2 seasons) in a deal to the Boston Beaneaters in return for 22-year old shortstop George McBride, 24-year old catcher Red Dooin, and a 4th round selection (63rd overall pick) in the upcoming draft.
