CBO Predictions
PAM has spoken and the 2307 season looks to have slight changes in the playoff teams, and a lot more competitive league overall. In the end, PAM predicts a repeat of the Sole Survivor Series of County Crossing and Roxbury. Based on overall power, it appears that PAM believes the Rad Sox to be the CBO's top team.
In the NCA, PAM has a tight race between the top two teams in the Brotherhood League, the Bloodbugs and Nordhagen Beach. Easy Town is still at a playoff level but expected to finish 10 games back of County Crossing. PAM again expects Sunshine Tidings to run away with the Institute League, finishing eight games ahead of second-place Bunker Hill.
The playoff seedings are expected to be:
1. County Crossing
2. Sunshine Tidings
3. Nordhagen Beach
4. Bunker Hill
5. Easy Town
RF Babs Rooth and SP Beachboy Nut are again expected to take the top hitter and pitcher awards. Other competitors as top hitter include 1B Zeldolph Violet (CC), RF Jonathan Angelou (NB), and SS Cy Thompson (CC). Other competitors for top pitcher include SP College Luckyman (CC), SP Gavin Eviritts (CC), and SP Tommy Beach (NB).
In the SCA, both University Point and the Sox are expected to win their leagues with the same record, though the power potential favors Roxbury. In the Minutemen League, Jamaica Plain is the only team expected to compete with the Deathclaws, though PAM expects them to finish six games back. In the Railroad League, the Rad Sox are expected to with the league by seven games over Oberland, which is picked to make it to the playoffs in 2307 after an eight-year absence.
The playoff seedings are expected to be:

5. Vault 81
Without surprise, 1B Barker Cocoa of University Point and SP Nuke Laloosh of Roxbury are the picks to win the top awards. Other competitors for the hitting award are 2B Diamond Ball (SI), CF Aesed Hayjen (UP), and CF Stu Gains (V81). Other competitors for the pitching award are SP Mesquite Williams (Obe), SP Derek Green (JP), and SP Dobbie Radoncis (SI).
CBO Top Systems and Prospects
The Slog looks to be a future juggernaut with four of its top prospects in the Top 10 featured below. Other top systems include Nahant, Goodneighbor, Egret, Bunker Hill, and Quincy. The bottom three systems are County Crossing (zero Top 100 prospects), Jamaica Plain (one Top 100 prospect), and University Point (two Top 100 prospects).
The CBO had one of its strongest classes ever in the 2306 Rookie Draft, and those players are reflected in the top prospects list. Let's take a look at the Top 10 players going into 2307 and where they are starting the season.
1. CF Missile Crews, Goodneighbor - The #1 overall pick out of West Quincy of the BYDL, Crews is expected to start the season with the CBO club since the Hancocks have such a talent deficiency. Whether or not that is good for Crews' development, we do not know, but we do know he is a high talent. Based on OSA predictions, he has the capability of being the top rookie with a .300/.373/.602 prediction line in his first season. If he starts out slowly, the Hancocks could send him down to break his slump.
2. 3B Plain Morris, The Slog - Morris was a case where he missed the application deadline for the 2302 Rookie Draft since he was in a military educational program that finished in February. After he was completed, he was able to sign as an undrafted free agent, in which The Slog secured his services. In four professional seasons, Morris has six GBRL career records, including being the top home run leader (129), 42 better than the second-best mark. Morris is expected to debut with the Ghouls in 2307 and is scheduled to start at 3B and hit cleanup.
3. SS Gavin Deux-Gas, The Slog - The second-overall pick in the 2306 Rookie Draft, Deux-Gas is expected to start with the MML's Burlington Ferals as the starting SS and bat second in the order. Should he thrive, he could later join Morris on the CBO squad.
4. SP Paul Stains, FHE - The 4th-overall pick in the 2306 Rookie Draft, Stains may be an elite pitcher. He is already CBO-ready, though he would be better placed in the bullpen to start. Granted a fifth year of BYDL eligibility after suffering an injury, Stains recorded BYDL career bests in wins (48), complete games (21), shutouts (6), innings pitched (579.0), strikeouts (786), and WAR (23.25). OSA scouts predict that he can elicit a 3.49 ERA with 255 Ks in 232.0 IP. FHE would take that his rookie season.
5. SP Hry Caje, Egret - The 2nd-overall pick in the 2303 Rookie Draft, Caje has been developing slowly. Now 20, the Ninjas are ready for him to start with the CBO club, though he is expected to be relegated to the bullpen this season, which could be a make-or-break time. In two seasons in the GBRL, he posted just a 12-10 record with a 4.74 ERA. OSA scouts have him with a 5.55 expected ERA with Egret this season.
6. 1B Kilometers Davis, The Slog - The Slog's 4th-overall pick in the 2304 Rookie Draft, Davis was traded to Vault 81 and later back to the Ghouls. He is expected to start the 2307 season with the BMU's Mass Pike Radroaches. Last season with Vault 81's Covenant Refractors, he batted .228 in 46 starts (48 total games played) with 11 home runs and 30 RBI. Another player in the Top 10 with a slow development, Davis may one day be one of the CBO's premier power hitters.
7. SP Flirt Perez, The Slog - The fourth Ghoul in the Top 7, Perez came to The Slog in the same trade that sent Davis back to the squad for outstanding CF Stu Gains. Perez was the Dwellers' 20th-overall pick in the 2304 Rooke Draft. Like Caje, Perez is expected to be on the CBO roster but will not be a starter to start is CBO career. Last season with two BMU teams, Perez was 8-6 with a 4.12 ERA in 22 total starts. He could be sent back to the MML if he struggles out of the bullpen. OSA scouts think he may finish with a 5.42 ERA with a full season in the Ghouls' bullpen.
8. 3B Jacob Tarberry, Nahant - The 6th-overall pick in the 2306 Rookie Draft, Tarberry is expected to start with the BMU's Brockton Irish. He is expected to be the starting 3B in Brockton and bat third.
9. LF Family Sam Partridge, Lexington - The 3rd-overall pick in the 2306 draft out of Boston Harbor, Partridge is expected to start with the BMU's Sanctuary Hills Zetans. He will start at LF and bat third in the Zetans lineup.
10. LF Kevin Faite, Bunker Hill - The 7th-overall pick by Oberland in the 2301 Rookie Draft, Faite is expected to make his CBO debut in 2307. Last season, he finished the season playing the final 24 games for the Abernathy Adamantium of the MML, batting .337 with five home runs and 16 RBI. With the 75ers, he is expected to be a pinch hitter and occasional starter behind Knife Bowie.
