First Week Check In
The first week of the 2307 season is now complete in the BL vs ML and IL vs RL matchups. Next week will be the BL vs RL and IL vs ML.
A few things that stood out is that Roxbury and Vault 81 are good. Really good. Each team went 6-0 the first week of the season, joining only Atom as the undefeated teams. Jamaica Plain is surprisingly the only team to start out 0-6, losing all six games against the Brotherhood League.
The Railroad League versus Institute League was heavily unbalanced with the RL going 29-7 against the IL. Bunker Hill is the only team in the IL with two wins, while the rest of the league managed just one win apiece. For the RL, Oberland is the only team not above .500, going 3-3 the first week. The University Point Deathclaws are expected to challenge for the Sole Survivor Series; however, they received the biggest blow of the young season with star RF Tomas Jones suffering an injury that will end his 2307 season. In 18 at bats, he was hitting .444 with three home runs and five RBI before going down with the injury legging out a double in the 10th inning of a 6-4 loss to Salem.
The ML held the overall advantage over the BL, going 19-17. All of Atom, Quincy, and Spectacle Island are above .500, while County Crossing and Salem are over .500 in the BL. Complete standings are below.
