with this player specifically, it looks like he's better suited for 2B rather than SS or 3B. He doesn't have the arm for that side of the infield. Since it looks like he's a draft target of yours, coming out of college, I'd start him off at Low-A as the 2B. Put him as the backup at SS (if starter tired), at 3B (if starter tired), and then also have him as the 2nd or 3rd string LF. Ideally he'd become sufficient but not great at those other positions, just so he can continue having playing time, but he's likely a 2B long-term. He could be a passable utility infielder if his bat comes along and he warrants playing 4-5 times a week, but I won't plan on that this early in his career. The nice thing about his profile though is that he already has playing experience at all of those other positions, as shown by him even being rated at them at all. so the AI coaches will likely use him in those from time to time. With his lack of true power I don't see him as a good long-term LF though. So my advice is enjoy him being starting caliber 2B.
