Cards news: July 13 -- IF Thomas Saggese named to Prospects Game
Memphis Redbirds infielder Thomas Saggese has been named a member of the National League roster for the Prospects Game.
In 46 games with the Redbirds, the 23-year-old Saggese has hit .312 with nine home runs and 31 RBIs.
Saggese also has played 15 games with the Cardinals, during which he has hit .276 with one home run and eight RBIs.
