Good thing it's a best-of-7 series...
Once again the Tampa Bay bats were kept in check by a former Ray, and once again they lost to Houston to fall behind 2-0 in the ALCS. And once again we were done in by Patrick Upchurch, who followed up his homer and 4 RBI in Game 1 with a pair of solo homers in Game 2. The difference this time was that the Rays came back and tied it up in the 8th but should have gone ahead with a man on 2nd and nobody out after doing so. They failed of course and Houston responded with the winner in the bottom of the inning when Ajani Riddick came in to face a lefty with two on and two out and gave up a double. So now it's back to the Trop with Joe Scheu trying to get us off the schneid.
