So far, I think fairly realistically, I've seen a lot of really good relievers who are rated as 'solid' players. The game seems to have captured both the highest end talents, and the ability of fairly normal talents to catch fire as relievers for a season or two.
That said, the salaries for middle to high end relievers is absurd. It has to be a bug.
