Hey all - we are looking for another Pirates GM to join us as the last one didn't stick. This is a very fun competitive historical sim league. We are currently in the offseason heading into the 1979 season, so it's a good time to jump in before spring training.

The Pirates are coming off a 76-86 season in 1978, but they are in prime position to be rebuilt into a contender. They currently have the #13 ranked farm system, including #19 CF Jesse Barfield, #31 3B Tim Wallach, and #56 LF Tom Brunansky. You will also have the #8 overall pick in the upcoming draft, along with a "Huge" market size, "Extreme" fan loyalty, and 94 fan interest. The team was 6th in attendance last year with the 8th largest budget this year, so the foundation is there to build a dynasty.
