Had to once again start my league over to get a few settings correct. Think I am there.
1) I had to make a lst minute trade to get my 25 man roster down. In the process, I traded way my backup CFer. So, I need to have another OFer learn the position, but it is start of the regular season. If I change his primary position to Centerfield, and send him to the minors for a month, will he be used at that position and get a rating for it? Or should I just keep him in the majors and put him out there as needed, suffering the low/no rating? Or trade him for another player? (BTW, 1970 Joe Rudi was my pickup, trading away Al Oliver. Other players involved)
2) When setting up the game AI, does setting the trade preference setting set that for just me, or for all of the computer managers? I have it set to equal preference.
