I was able run some more test using OOTP 25 on a PC running Windows 11 and the same problems occurred. So it doesn't seem isolated to a Mac, so I would think you should be able to replicate the problem

These are definitely changed here. Can you go to settings > troubleshooting > force reinstall game data and hit that to make sure that the new db has been installed correctly for you?
EDIT: Or is what you're seeing more what sprague describes with individual player imports, rather than importing the league as a whole in historical mode?
