Thanks for such a quick response Sebastian - Of course! From my point of view, utilizing the data in the CSVs was to increase immersion not break it - however, with the CSVs dumping the unscouted data - does that not render them 'unusable' to an extent? Especially when it comes to users, for example, why would you dump the data and analyze it when it's inaccurate compared to what you have done as a GM. You can make sure that everyone you want to take a look at is scouted in game but then that 'opinion' on the player is limited to the in game navigation, which is fine for say 1 or 2 players you want to take a look at, not much clicking involved there...HOWEVER, if it's a free agency class or a draft class that's a hell of a lot of clicks and menu navigation which takes away from the fun of actually analyzing these players.
I play a lot of Front Office Football 8 (not sure if you are familiar with that game at all) and in the instance when you dump draft or league data it is all from
your scouts perspective, so you're not at an advantage over anyone by default - everyone has a scout (or team of scouts in FHM) who have a view on a player - so you're seeing in the CSV what you would see from YOUR in game information there. Is there any way of working something like this into FHM? I know you guys have done work on the CSVs/data output from the game more recently for which I've been a grateful enjoyer.
