I will have to check when I get home. I think the blink is being caused by the game creating the facegen. Once each teams entire lineup has hit the flashing will stop, until a relief pitcher enters or a pinch hitter. Oh, and when I'm watching an entire series, it won't do the flash after the first game, unless someone new is in lineup.
