Okay, fingers crossed that I've found a very usable solution. It looks like if each time I start the game I select the option to update/generate all player pictures, the game quickly updates what needs to be updated and the strobe flash goes away. Really hoping this works. I could probably get used to not having facegen on when using real players, but it adds a lot to my enjoyment of my leagues. Fingers crossed.
