We have officially been called a dynasty by our owner, back-to-back World Series wins and 3 out of 4. It was easy in the end, 4 games to 1 over the Phillies. Vernon Armstead, who played so poorly this season I traded for Rick Leach as an attempt to improve, won the World Series MVP after Leach went ice cold the last 2 weeks. Armstead hit .474 with a home run, 3 RBI, 5 runs and 2 steals. I would have given it to Victor Cruz who went 1-0 with a 1.90 ERA and started victorious games 1 and 5.
I still have several years to go before the Marlins and Rockies enter the league, and not that I am complaining about this winning team I built, but I am a little bored with it. Lots to do in the off-season and I think I have a lot of work to do to keep the train rolling.
