A few years back I started clicking can't be fired and turning off owner goals. Much respect to those who play that way, for many obvious reasons, but as a player since, I think, 08, I only really care about creating a baseball universe of my liking and would rather have the team be my franchise that rides or dies on my choices. I generally set my team with little money and an with an owner who doesn't spend but has plenty of patience. I like to handicap my team with plenty of house rules, but ultimately, I want to do things my way.
