Yep, those leftists who (checks notes) are happy with the direction corporate America took in this instance.
Back on topic, this game has editors and a whole wealth of ways to get banned players, mascots, and uniforms in the game. Play it your way means *your* way. It doesn't mean "force everyone else to play it the snowflake way I want to play it that would break the licensing agreement" (which, hey, if you want to put Wander Franco and OJ Simpson and Charles Manson in your league, you go right ahead with that - snowflake away all you want, that's the whole point of the game). Grow up, learn to use your computer if that's what's stopping you, and stop whining about how a corporate league (MLB) is acting corporate-ly.
FWIW earlier on I asked if I could add some of the seedier stories in baseball history to the storylines.xml (Ed Delahanty jumping his team and then getting hit by a train, Paul Koenecke being beaten to death after he tried to commandeer a plane, Lyman Bostock being killed by a rando at a traffic stop because said rando thought the woman in his car was his girlfriend) and that was shut down too because of the licensing agreement. The license is what it is and I think that overall it's a really good thing. You do in fact need to conform to the dictates of the license when you choose to enter into it, however.
