2308 Nuka Cup Tournament Has Thrilling Second Week
Each team has now played 12 exhibition games for the 2308 Nuka Cup Tournament, and we have some results starting to come in. Only two of the eight Quarterfinals Round slots have been claimed, while 11 teams already know that their next series will be their last until Spring Training week begins on March 31.
Nordhagen Beach Regional
Nordhagen Beach 2, Egret 1

The Slog 2, Egret 1
The Slog takes over 1st place with the best overall record. Both the Ghouls and Killers are now 3-1 with a matchup in the final Round Robin Series to determine which team lays claim to the Nordhagen Beach Regional. The Reapers are still alive for the chance as the 2nd seed, but they must win the series over Nordhagen Beach to do so.
The Party Boys, Egret, and Goodneighbor are all eliminated. The Boys could finish 3-2 and tied for 2nd place, but they would lose the tiebreaker to both the Ghouls and Killers.
Scenarios:
The Slog wins the regional with a series win over Starlight. They would be 2nd place if they lose and the Party Boys defeat the Reapers.
Starlight wins the regional with a series win over Starlight. They would be 2nd place if they lose and the Party Boys defeat the Reapers.
Spectacle Island clinches 2nd place with a series win over the Boys.
Jamaica Plain Regional

The Red Rockets and Witch Hats still remain 1 and 2 this week, despite both going 1-1. Easy Town and Quincy are both still alive at 2-2. Diamond City and Lexington are eliminated.
Scenarios:
The Rockets clinch the regional with a series win over the Assaultrons. They can be 2nd place with a series loss, a Witch Hats series loss, and a Gunners series loss.
Salem clinches the regional with a series win over the Synths and a Jamaica Plain series loss to Easy Town. They can clinch 2nd place with a series losses by both the Assautrons and Gunners. They could also clinch through tiebreakers based on final results in the 5th matchup.
Easy Town clinches 1st place with a series sweep of the Red Rockets and a Hats series loss. They can clinch 2nd place through a series of tiebreakers but must win their series.
Quincy cannot clinch 1st place. They could clinch 2nd place through a series of tiebreakers and a series sweep of Lexington.
Roxbury Regional

The Rad Sox took over 1st place with the series win over the T-51s, which had started 3-0. Sunshine Tidings and Vault 81 stand at 2-2, with both Nahant and Concord eliminated with a 1-3 record.
Scenarios:
Roxbury clinches 1st place with a series win over the Chemists. They could also clinch 1st place or 2nd place with a series loss and events that would leave a four-way tie for 1st place and certain three-way tie scenarios.
Oberland would clinch the regional with a series win over the Dwellers and a Sox series loss. The T-51s could clinch 2nd place with a series loss and events that would leave a four-way tie for 1st place and certain three-way tie scenarios.
Sunshine Tidings clinches 1st place with a series win over the Sox and a Vault 81 series win over the T-51s. They could clinch 2nd place with a series win over Roxbury and an Oberland series win. They could also clinch 1st or 2nd place through various tiebreaker scenarios, but would probably have to sweep the Rad Sox.
Vault 81 likely cannot clinch 1st place due to tiebreaker results in a four-way tie scenario since they were swept by the Chemists. However, they could clinch 2nd place with a series win and a Roxbury series win. They could also clinch 2nd place with a sweep of the T-51s and winning tiebreakers in a four-way tie situation.

Despite the tight race after the first week, two teams have now clinched a spot in the Quarterfinals in this regional, the only two spots clinched. The Deathclaws are the only undefeated team through four series at 4-0, which puts them at 1st place over the Bloodbugs who are 3-1. County Crossing has the tiebreaker over 2-2 FHE, so that means the Yao Guai, Atom, Bunker Hill, and Fort Hagen are all eliminated.
Scenarios:
This one is simple. In the Claws-Bugs series, the winner takes 1st place in the regional and the loser takes 2nd place.
