Also only seen the first two episodes so far (so 1/4 of the season) but the new TV show is legit.

I am in the same boat for the show. The Brotherhood of Steel portions are . . . different but does not take me out of the box. Lucy's character reminds me so much of Fallout 3's Moira with her sunny disposition.
I also love The Ghoul character, and I hope that he and Lucy become a team in some way. That would be a Fallout-esque companionship.
